I say this with love & light-
It can be so easy to get caught up in the chaos of life, and the trauma bonds that hold us tight to things that create distress within our souls. It can be with family, coworkers, our spouse- and it can wreak havoc on our internal spiritual being, causing us to stay stuck in fight/flight mode missing out on opportunities for our lives.
Being a mental illness survivor, and watching my own family struggle with this awful disease, it can be discouraging at times to pick up my mat and continue walking against the storm. There have been times where I have been stuck in the fetal position on my floor contemplating the meaning of life. Sometimes, I'm down on the floor for days, making statements of "I'm not getting up!".
If you haven't checked out my poem titled "Defeating Demons", it's listed on poetrynation.com and also in this blog- DON'T GIVE UP BEFORE THE VICTORY HAS BEEN WON.
Whatever you may be facing, whether you have to crawl, keep moving forwards. Satan wants control of your mind, he wants every aspect of your being. Don't give in to him- because when you're in your lowest points, he wants you there, and he wants you to stay there. It might be hard, as I have known, but stand up and imagine yourself ripping Satan apart and push him to the side, and go about your day.
Love & Light,
Brittany Eldridge
